Job Description

With a quality background in Food and Beverage or Rooms Division, you will be looking for your final step before reaching your target of General Manager. You will implement the hotel strategy. You will drive and support implementation of all corporate programmes and initiatives. You will effectively lead and manage the day-to-day operational activities. You would ideally enjoy working with others to achieve and exceed key business goals. You would be responsible for managing the performance of the department heads that report to you and provide the necessary support to maximise their effectiveness and efficiency while actively supporting their development and growth. You will be committed to meeting and exceeding all key performance standards and measures. Your ability to balance operational needs, implement strategy and display a passion for business excellence will ensure your success in this role.

Qualifications

To be successful will require the following skills and experience:

  • Demonstrated operational and financial management experience within a Hotel environment
  • Strategic business acumen and commercial business knowledge
  • A proven track record of maintaining excellent product and service standards whilst maximising revenue and minimising expenses
  • People management in recruiting, driving and supporting teams to ensure a high performing team-culture including an extensive portfolio in successful coaching, mentoring and development
  • The ability to develop and maintain solid working relationships with guests, owners and staff
  • Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication
  • A strong commitment to continuous improvement and learning
