Join us as a Resilience & Continuity Services Manager, Commercial & Institutional
- In this specialist role, you'll have primary responsibility for managing the NatWest Markets (NWM) Incident Management Framework, providing central coordination for escalated issues and expert guidance to ensure NWM is appropriately prepared for and effectively responds to incidents.
- You'll build and manage relationships with key stakeholders to maximise the effectiveness of the role and make sure incident preparedness and resilience are key considerations for all colleagues.

What you'll do
In this role, you'll be managing the NWM Incident Management Framework and representing incident management governance before, during and after incidents. You'll help coordinate an effective response and manage the delivery of post-incident enhancement activity.
Additionally, you'll be:
- Representing incident management at policy governance forums and ensuring effective dissemination of communications relating to incident management plans and lessons learned
- Applying your knowledge of incident management and resilience principles, best practice processes and controls to support a timely and effective response
- Supporting business resilience by managing regular incident management exercises, invocation testing and other appropriate methods
- Working with the business and technology to make sure that incident management plans and playbooks are implemented and maintained effectively, with post-incident actions tracked through to closure
The skills you'll need
To take on this role, you'll need practical experience of incident management, together with an understanding of operational resilience disciplines and regulatory expectations, as well as experience of Markets trading environments and a sound understanding of investment and wholesale banking operations.
Additionally, you'll demonstrate:
- Experience of working with wider business and technology teams to coordinate responses to complex or high-impact incidents
- The ability to work on your own initiative to deliver optimum business solutions
- Excellent attention to detail
- Working knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint to support critical MI production
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage senior stakeholders during time-critical situations
