Role Summary / Purpose

The Resilience and Incident Management Analyst is the Third Party Risk Management (TPRM) team’s prepper and fixer: ready before disruption hits and first to act when it does. Where TPRM identifies where the risk is, this role makes sure the organization is ready for it. Identifying risk only reduces it if the organization can act, and this role converts the risk program's insight into protection of the revenue, continuity, and customer commitments on which Applied depends.

Before disruption, the Analyst owns the supply chain resilience program, supplier-continuity planning, and tabletop exercises so plans exist before they are needed. When risk becomes reality, they run incident management and recovery coordination — the pillar that turns risk identification into operational action, minimizing time-to-recover and revenue exposure for a concentrated, high-value supply chain.

This is a role for a supply chain resilience practitioner and hands-on operator — someone who has led real disruptions, not only written plans — and who can build the resilience program and incident-command capability from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities

Resilience Program

  • Own the supply chain resilience program strategy, standards, and governance.
  • Develop and maintain supplier business-continuity and contingency plans for critical suppliers and single- or sole-source dependencies.
  • Design and run tabletop exercises and scenario planning; validate and refresh response playbooks.
  • Partner with Third Party Risk teams to translate risk exposure into prioritized resilience actions.

Incident Management & Recovery

  • Lead incident engagement and serve as control tower for disruption management.
  • Coordinate cross-functional response and recovery; manage escalation, communication, and decisions to restore continuity.
  • Drive time-to-identify, time-to-escalate, and time-to-recover as actively managed metrics.
  • Run post-incident reviews and feed lessons learned back into resilience plans and controls.

Readiness, Metrics & Reporting

  • Own critical-dependency mapping across single- and sole-source suppliers and key supply nodes.
  • Be accountable for supplier recovery readiness and scenario coverage as quantified, reported metrics.
  • Track resilience-plan and tabletop coverage across critical suppliers.
  • Maintain readiness dashboards and report continuity posture to leadership.
  • Define the triggers and thresholds that activate incident response.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Risk Management, Business Continuity, or a related field.
  • 8+ years in supply chain, operational resilience, business continuity, crisis/incident management, or supplier risk.
  • Mandatory: hands-on experience in at least one of crisis management, business continuity, supply chain continuity, or emergency operations center.
  • Proven experience leading organizations through actual incidents (e.g., factory shutdowns, geographic disruptions, supplier failures, or cyber-related business continuity events) and not solely authoring plans.
  • Demonstrated ability to build a resilience or incident-management program or capability from concept through operation.
  • Demonstrated ownership of business-continuity or resilience programs and hands-on incident or crisis response leadership.
  • Experience with supplier continuity planning in a global, concentrated, or high-criticality supply chain.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Business continuity or resilience certification (e.g., CBCP, MBCI, ISO 22301); crisis or incident management training.
  • Experience leading or standing up a crisis management control tower.
  • Experience in semiconductor, manufacturing, or logistics supply chains.
  • Familiarity with TPRM outputs, supplier segmentation, and risk-monitoring data.

Key Skills / Competencies

  • Business continuity and resilience program design.
  • Builder mentality: stands up a resilience and incident-command capability from the ground up.
  • Hands-on operator: has managed real disruptions, not only planning.
  • Incident command and calm, decisive crisis leadership.
  • Cross-functional coordination under pressure.
  • Scenario planning and tabletop facilitation.
  • Metrics orientation (time-to-recover, coverage) and executive communication.
