Job Description: Residential Energy Coordinator

To support our growth, we are seeking a detail-oriented candidate to support clients, and projects geared toward helping improve the energy efficiency of residential dwellings. This position involves working closely with energy efficiency programs that are geared towards delivering assistance to utility customers who meet income qualifications. As an Energy Coordinator, you will work with the Energy Efficiency Assistance (EEA) team to evaluate and confirm whether applications meet program eligibility requirements. You will be responsible for escalating certain residential projects for an additional health and safety review.

The company designs and implements programs that may include incentives, technical assistance, income-based rates, and other strategies. Your work will directly contribute to helping utility customers improve the efficiency, resiliency, and safety of residential dwellings.

What you will be doing:

  • Work as part of the energy efficiency team ensuring that rebate applications of the utility sponsored EEA projects are processed accurately and that they meet program requirements.
  • Review project application forms and submittals by program participants in order to verify compliance with program policies and procedures.
  • Review application supporting documents including work orders, certificates of completion, and invoices for energy efficiency projects.

  • Proficiency with MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel).
