About the Role
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Resettlement Specialist to support the preparation and implementation of land acquisition and involuntary resettlement activities for major road and highway infrastructure projects in Papua New Guinea.
Responsibilities
Lead the preparation and implementation of Resettlement Action Plans (RAP), Land Acquisition and Resettlement Action Plans (LARAP), and related safeguard instruments
Identify Project Affected Persons, vulnerable households, and affected assets.
Support implementation of land acquisition and resettlement activities during project execution.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (Master’s preferred) in Civil Engineering, Water Resources Engineering, Hydrology, or related discipline
Minimum 5 years’ experience in involuntary resettlement, preferably for transport projects, funded by MDBs.
Male or female
Good communication in English Language

Skills Required
