The Reservations Coordinator is responsible for managing guest room reservations while delivering exceptional customer service and maximizing hotel revenue opportunities. This role serves as a key point of contact for guests, travel planners, and internal departments to ensure accurate reservation processing and a seamless guest experience from booking through arrival.

Job Description

    The Clift Royal Sonesta San Francisco is seeking a service-oriented, detail-oriented Reservations Coordinator to join our team. As the first point of contact for many of our guests, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional guest experiences while supporting hotel occupancy, revenue goals, and group business operations.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Process individual and group room reservations via phone, email, online channels, and other booking platforms.
  • Manage all aspects of group reservations, including contracts, room blocks, release procedures, guarantees, deposits, rooming lists, billing instructions, and communication of group details to internal departments.
  • Build, maintain, and update group blocks and group rooming lists in the property management system.
  • Enter and maintain accurate reservation records, including billing arrangements, commissions, guest history, special requests, and reservation notes.
  • Verify reservation details, payment information, and guest preferences to ensure accuracy.
  • Coordinate closely with Front Office, Sales, Revenue Management, and Housekeeping to ensure seamless guest arrivals and operational efficiency.
  • Review daily arrivals, departures, VIP reservations, and special accommodations.
  • Resolve reservation discrepancies and guest concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and brand standards.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of guest and company information.
  • Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Oracle Opera Cloud PMS is required.
  • Experience using OTA extranets, including Expedia, Booking.com, and Priceline/Agoda, is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality-related education is preferred.
  • Minimum one year of hotel reservations, front desk, guest services, or related hospitality experience preferred.
  • Strong customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as business needs require.

Pay Range

Hourly rate is from $35.55 to $37.5 follows contract requirements.
