General Definition:
- The Admissions Reservationist obtains and confirms seating accommodations for guest and complies reports of transactions in a professional manner by performing the following duties.
Essential Job Functions:
- Dependability, good attendance, and occasional overtime required.
- May be required to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as scheduled.
- Have the ability to accomplish a multitude of duties as assigned
- Accepts incoming calls from reservations line (by second ring) and accurately completes seating reservations in a timely and professional manner.
- Confirms all reservation details at the end of each call.
- Accurately enters reservations and customer information into McKinney system during each call.
- Executes phone script checklist in a friendly, professional manner; ensures all information is provided to customers as required.
- Reviews and balances nightly job duties to insure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness.
- Generates various reports and monies/credit card charge information to the night auditor as required.
- Coordinates with other departments for updated information to insure the flow of daily activities and special events information is communicated to callers accurately.
Education & Training:
- High School diploma or GED
- At least 6 months of telecommunications experience required.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Microsoft Word, Excel and Access a plus.
- Good written and verbal communications.
- Customer Service experience a MUST.
- Bilingual skills is a plus.
- Must be a team player, able to communicate fluently in English.
- Able to follow instructions.
Training:
- Responsible Training
Licenses/Certifications/Other:
- Must be able to pass a background check and receive a license or permit from any Regulatory Agency, if applicable to perform the essential job functions.
