***This position is a Fully In-Office role based out of our Phoenix, AZ Office***

About you

You are a curious individual with advanced critical thinking skills. You understand the indispensable value that data can provide, and always find yourself asking “why”. This position provides a very strong foundation into the world of commercial real estate by delving into property information, as well as regional and market area data.

Working alongside the team to provide research support to a team of real estate advisors. This includes organizing a platform of comprehensive commercial real estate market data, partnering with marketing to present materials to win new business, responding to inquiries from advisors, and training advisors and staff on how to use research resources. The Researcher collaborates with the marketing team and partners with advisors to develop materials to inform clients about the market in pitches and regular touchpoints.

In this role, you will…

• Collect and organize diverse real estate information and data from a variety of sources, sharing collected information with relevant parties throughout the office

• You can track market activity using internal and external resources. Provide company and industry research using on-line and in-house resources.

• You will write quarterly market reports and other summaries of market information for potential clients

• Assist advisors with listing presentations by participating in planning meetings and providing market analysis, statistics and direct research support

• Train advisors and staff in use of research applications such as Costar, Real Capital Analytics, and proprietary database tools

• You thrive in a fast-paced environment, where you can use your amazing multi-tasking skills to meet tight deadlines with uncompromised ethics/integrity.

What you’ll bring

• 1-3 years’ experience in a research, market analysis or related role in commercial real estate.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Business, Economics, Statistics)

• Advanced knowledge of MS Office Excel

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong analytical skills and experience using a research database (Costar, LoopNet)

Bonus skills and experience

• Experience in ArcGIS or other GIS software
