Base Pay Range: $91,200.00 - $155,000.00

Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

In this role:

• Main responsibilities will be performing electromagnetic simulations and developing next-generation solvers.
• Candidate must be able to work within a small team environment, work with outside contractors, consultants.
• Provide effective presentation and written evaluations to internal customers to show capabilities of the product concept.
• Interface with customers to understand the requirement of their needs.
• Feedback on product performance and market gaps back to the marketing and engineering teams. 
• This candidate must work closely with other internal development programs within KLA.  

Qualifications

• Doctorate (Academic) in the physical sciences or engineering with at least 2 years of experience.
• Strong background in applied mathematics and electromagnetics.
• Proficient in numerical simulations, preferably in computational electromagnetics.
• Strong background in computer programming, especially in performance profiling, memory optimization, and parallel computing.
• Proficient in C++ and python, especially in writing production-quality, object-oriented code.
• Experience in semiconductors (electrical properties, manufacturing, and metrology) is a plus.
• Ability and willingness to travel worldwide to support projects at customer sites is a plus.

Minimum Qualifications

Doctorate (Academic) Degree and 0 years related work experience; Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 3 years; Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 5 years
