Pharmathen offers a great opportunity for career development and is seeking to recruit a Research Scientist to join our R&D team at our Metamorfosi premises.

As a Research Scientist, the ideal candidate will provide high quality support in analytical development in a GLP environment. Also, will participate in all stages of a new product development, through analysis of R&D formulations and scale up/registration batches.


Requirements

What you will do:

More particularly:

  • Perform analyses to support all stages of the product’s life cycle, from development and stability studies to registration and post-approval activities.
  • Deliver, evaluate, and interpret experimental analytical data.
  • Compile, maintain, review, and interpret analytical and statistical data.
  • Assist in the generation of high-quality technical documents required for method validation, stability studies, formulation activities, and deficiency responses.
  • Maintain laboratory systems and ensure compliance with relevant GMP requirements.
  • Follow applicable EU and FDA guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Adhere to safety and housekeeping requirements.
  • Undertake additional activities and responsibilities as assigned.

The ideal candidate should have:

  • BSc Degree in Chemistry or relevant field
  • Master’s degree in chemistry or relevant field.
  • At least 2 year of experience in chemical analysis in the Pharmaceutical Industry or equivalent.
  • Competent in analytical method development techniques (HPLC, GC, UV, IR etc) and analytical lab instrumentation
  • Troubleshooting skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects and meet timelines

Job-Specific Skills:

  • Excellent communication in English language (writing & speaking)
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft office)
  • High team working spirit

Skills Required
