We invite suitable candidate to join a strong research team in Temasek Laboratories@NTU with the following requisites:
Key Responsibilities:
The candidate is expected to conduct and guide research in Wireless and Cellular Security, in particular the discovery of novel wireless attacks and their detection and mitigations.
The candidate is expected to conduct both theoretical development of methods and experiment design to validate the developed methods.
Other research responsibilities include supervising junior researchers/interns/students, carrying out detailed literature reviews and assessment of the state-of-the-art technologies. planning and executing detailed R&D activities to meet project objectives and deadlines, generating novel scientific or technological concepts for application of breakthrough nature and contributing to research proposals.
Administrative responsibilities may include safety, asset management and other aspects related to being a member of Temasek Labs@NTU.
Job Requirements:
PhD degree in Computer Science, Computer & Electronics Engineering or other related fields
Strong background and knowledge in at least one or preferably more of the following fields: Cybersecurity, Deep Learning and software engineering with at least 3-5 years of research experience (including PhD training) in related fields.
Proven track record in research and development of cybersecurity and/or Deep Learning technologies.
Strong publication record in top cybersecurity or systems conferences/journals (e.g., USENIX Security, NDSS, ASE, TSE, TIFS, ICSE, FSE, ICST etc.
Strong programming skills in C/C++, python etc.
Knowledge of Electrical or Software Engineering and Cybersecurity are plus.
Good writing skills for writing proposals, reports and publications in good academic journals
