Job Description:This position initiates and conducts independent research to advance scientific knowledge, improve patient outcomes, and help improve the health and vitality of our communities. Initiates and conducts investigator-initiated research projects as Principal or Co-Investigator with funding support at the local, regional, or national level. Responsible for conducting ethical and compliant research endeavors, fiscally responsible management of research funding, and leadership of research teams. Collaborates with internal and external investigators and research support team on research design, methodology, data management, analysis and dissemination of research results.
Education Qualifications:
Advanced terminal degree in life sciences, medical/health sciences, public health, or economics with the ability to compete for funding from local and regional agencies.

No certification/licensure required.
