Research & Insights Associate
We’re looking for a Research & Insight Associate to help build an evidence-rich understanding of our users and translate insight into decisions that improve our products, communications and overall experience.
This is a hands-on, mid-junior role. You’ll support experienced researchers, run well-defined research tasks independently, and develop your skills across both quantitative and qualitative methods. You’ll work across multiple markets, contribute to our global brand tracking programme, and learn how to use AI to increase the speed, quality and accessibility of insight.
You’ll partner closely with product managers, designers, marketers and commercial teams — helping shape better decisions grounded in real user understanding.
Who Are You
You’re curious, organised and motivated by understanding how people think, behave and make financial decisions. You communicate clearly, collaborate well, and can break down a question into structured research tasks. You take pride in high-quality work, seek feedback early, and are excited to experiment with AI tools that help you learn and work smarter.
You’re comfortable working across multiple projects, ask thoughtful questions, and bring empathy and humility to everything you do.
What The Role Involves
Deliver research with excellence
You’ll support and run elements of qualitative and quantitative projects, contribute to brand tracking, conduct user interviews (with support), draft surveys and discussion guides, analyse behavioural patterns, run desk research, and produce clear, structured insight summaries. You’ll always have support from senior researchers for complex decisions.
Use AI to enhance quality, speed and accessibility
You’ll apply AI tools to improve analysis, synthesis and knowledge retrieval; help maintain our research repository and user video library; and test new AI-led approaches that make insight more accessible across ClearScore.
Collaborate across missions and markets
You’ll work closely with Product, Design, Marketing, Commercial and International teams — keeping stakeholders updated, sharing learnings openly, and contributing to a supportive, collaborative research culture.
Skills & Requirements
- 2–3 years of hands-on experience in client side or agency research role
- Experience with quantitative and qualitative research methods
- Experience with brand tracking is a bonus
- Comfortable conducting user interviews (with support), desk research and simple analysis
- Able to run clearly scoped research tasks independently
- You will be expected to clarify research briefs and identify what’s needed to answer a question
- Experience drafting questionnaires, interview guides and basic analysis plans
- Experience with survey or research tools (e.g., Qualtrics, dscout) is a plus
- You will be expected to produce clear, structured, first-pass insight summaries
- Comfort with Excel, SQL or basic data manipulation
- Curiosity and openness to learning AI tools and approaches
- Experience using AI tools or taking an AI first approach to research is a plus
What you'll get exposure to
You’ll work across product discovery, early-stage propositions, market and audience understanding, behavioural and attitudinal analysis, creative and campaign evaluations, and international research. You’ll also gain hands-on experience with AI-enabled research methods, from assisted analysis to knowledge search to interactive insight tools.
Your development will be supported through a personalised learning budget, ClearScore’s Learning & Development Hub, Juno Journey, mentoring opportunities, cross-functional exposure, and regular coaching and feedback.
You’ll be part of a small, collaborative team with accessible leaders, frequent guidance and an environment where curiosity is always welcomed.
