In our Finance division, caregivers use their knowledge and skill every day to provide exceptional experiences for patients and their families. As a Research Financial Analyst, you will serve as the primary resource for operating units regarding the collection of data, analysis and evaluation of operational resources, services, programs, systems, budgets and procedures. You will support the collection and evaluation of operational resources, services, programs, systems, budgets and procedures through both standard and ad hoc reporting to meet enterprise needs.
This position provides opportunities for professional growth through a defined career ladder and the ability to take on roles that expand upon core accounting skills within the department.
A caregiver in this role works days from 8:00 a.m. -- 5:00 p.m.
This position will be onsite at Main Campus for the first 90 days, then transitions to a hybrid schedule.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Analyze and evaluate operational and financial functions of administrative and operational units.
Analyze departmental resources, services, systems, budgets, and programs and prepare reports based on analysis.
Conduct comprehensive statistical analysis and evaluation of unit services and performance.
Identify program or service strengths, weaknesses, and financial impact and identify opportunities for service and program improvement.
Develop special reports and recommendations.
Provide input in the development of operational plans, procedures and systems.
Review and evaluate current procedures and systems and develop recommendations for improvements.
Maintain awareness of and comply with various regulatory guidelines (JCAHO, FDA, HIPAA, OSHA, etc.).
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Health Care Administration or a related field and two years of statistical analysis experience
OR a High School Diploma/GED and six years of experience
OR an Associate’s Degree and four years of experience
OR a Master’s Degree and one year of experience
Basic accounting skills
Basic computer skills such as Word and Excel
Analytical, communication and customer service skills

Physical Requirements:
Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods
