We are seeking candidates who are interested in thermal management using novel materials and technologies. This is a PhD level project and the student is expected to obtain a post-doctorate degree within 4 years. The PhD student will have the opportunity to work on industry projects and engage with multinational companies.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct research & development in various aspects of engineering
- Contribute to TRT-SG research work products and knowledge sharing through potential patents and IP foreground information, R&T gates, external and Group internal conferences and presentations, publications etc.
- Engage in the creative and innovative development of R&T
- In line with TRT-SG, KTD and GBU priorities for HW R&D and engineering solution.
- Play a key role in project management: planning, executing, monitoring, controlling and closing projects
Requirements:
- Bachelor/Master’s degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Physics
- To obtain a post-doctorate degree within 4 years
- Proven ability to work independently, formulate research plans and take initiative.
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Preparation and review of analysis presentations and reports.
- Presentation of analysis results at internal and external working group meetings.
- Support collaborative research efforts with other team members
