About Team

Our Innovation Team is at the forefront of researching new technologies and building prototypes of groundbreaking features, keeping us ahead of the competition. We're on the lookout for a Researcher who can collaborate closely with our research staff and aid them in delivering innovative functionality to our products. Ideal candidates should be playful developers experienced in both AI research and software engineering. They should be capable of autonomously designing and solving complex problems with fuzzy boundaries and vague specifications. This role requires a natural-born problem solver with strong coding and system design skills.


What You'll Do Here

Technical focus

  • Passionate about data analysis, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and software engineering.
  • Engage in the research of new technologies and the coding of prototypes, constantly and quickly acquiring new skills in AI and software development.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve set goals and be involved in the architectural design and implementation of software systems.
  • Support and maintain existing features deployed by the Innovation team, including intense communication with other stakeholders, explaining feature functionality, and continuously educating them.
  • Develop and maintain APIs and service-oriented architectures, ensuring scalability and efficiency.

Business/team/customer focus

  • Understand the non-trivial backends and logic of delivered features, capable of explaining their workings to non-technical stakeholders (sales, and account managers).
  • Proactive team player and communicator, seeking support from various teams and capable of working simultaneously with multiple people on an ad-hoc basis.
  • Highly practical and user/customer-focused, always questioning the scalability/usability of projects.

What You'll Bring To Us

  • Technical background, preferably MSc. level in STEM, and at least 3 years in a technical position as a developer/researcher.
  • Experience with common machine learning concepts and software engineering principles.
  • Hands-on experience with either natural language processing or computer vision, and system design.
  • Preferred skillset: Python, SQL, Pyspark, ML/AI, software design patterns, code versioning, and bug tracking systems.
  • Experience with common data science toolkits, such as Numpy, Pandas, Scikit.
  • Good applied statistics skills with a strong foundation in system architecture and API development.
