Job summary: The Research
Coordinator will support the planning, implementation, and management of
research projects. They will ensure studies are conducted according to
protocol, standard operating procedures (SOPs), good clinical practice (GCP),
and applicable regulations. The coordinator will also be responsible for
maintaining accurate records, organizing and updating study files, and ensuring
proper documentation and data integrity in accordance with institutional and
regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate day-to-day activities of assigned
research studies.
- Assist with protocol development and study
documentation. Maintain accurate and complete records.
- Manage data collection, entry, cleaning, and
preliminary analysis.
- Communicate effectively with investigators,
research team members, sponsors, and collaborators.
- Ensure regulatory compliance and proper reporting
of adverse events.
- Organize research meetings, trainings, and visits.
- Assist in preparing reports, abstracts,
presentations, and publications.
- Maintain confidentiality and data security at all
times.
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives
within the research program.
Requirements
- MPH or Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, M.Sc. in Clinical Research, or PG Diploma in Clinical Research/Health Sciences
- Prior experience (0 - 1 years) coordinating
clinical or field research preferred.
- Knowledge of research ethics, GCP, and regulatory
guidelines.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and
interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel,
PowerPoint)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities,
and work independently with minimal supervision.
Skills Required
- MPH or Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, M.Sc. in Clinical Research, or postgraduate diploma in Clinical Research or Health Sciences
- Prior experience coordinating clinical or field research, preferably 0–1 years
- Knowledge of research ethics, Good Clinical Practice, and regulatory guidelines
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize work, and work independently with minimal supervision
