We're currently looking for a diligent research associate to develop, validate and apply in vitro biochemical, cellular and complex 3D assay systems to the study of mucosal immunology and nephrology.
The opportunityCollaboratively designing, executing, and interpreting in vitro studies for the validation and characterization of targets or therapeutic agents in the area of immune mediated inflammatory diseases and nephrology
Developing, validating and applying novel in vitro systems (incl. microphysiological systems, organoids) for the discovery and validation of new novel therapeutic agents
Applying state-of-the-art analytical and imaging technologies (e.g. confocal & live cell imaging) to the analysis of in vitro test systems
Performing immunology and molecular biology experiments using primary, patient-derived material. Techniques include primary cell isolation, phenotyping, cell activation assessment, cytokine detection, qPCR, ELISA, Western blot, cell transfection, and generation KO cells using genome editing techniques
