Translational Research - Research Associate (CDI) - M/F
We are seeking a skilled and highly motivated Research Associate to become part of our Translational Research team at the Oncopôle site in Toulouse, France.

Precision oncology is a major priority and constitutes a strategic focus for the Pierre Fabre Group. The internal R&D pipeline, supplemented with future external opportunities, will be central in shaping the future orientation of Pierre Fabre Medical Care.
Missions:
Plan, develop and execute cell-based functional assays to support and advance translational research strategies.
Translate preclinical biomarker strategies into in vitro experimental studies to support decision-making in drug development.
Conduct mechanism of action and in vitro preclinical proof-of-concept studies to profile novel therapeutics, as single agent or in combination across multiple cancer indications
Perform back-translation assays from clinical trials
Suggest and evaluate new approaches and emerging technologies for biomarker development and clinical applications.
Analyze data and communicate results in team and cross-functional meetings.
Coordinate collaborations with external partners and CROs to achieve high standards of productivity and quality, enhancing project capabilities.
This position is compatible with teleworking up to 2 days a week.

Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a Life Sciences discipline such as cell biology, molecular biology, immunology or biochemistry
Minimum 5 years of experience in translational research or drug discovery in the pharmaceuticals or biotech industry is mandatory
Experience in translational research and biomarker, including assay development and application in drug development, is essential
Hands-on knowledge of in vitro biochemical and cellular techniques, including extensive cell culture and cell biology experience is required. Genomics, proteomics and data science knowledge is a plus
Proficiency in assay development is highly desirable, along with independent, critical and solution-oriented mindset.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment across the R&D organization
Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and in English
