We are seeking a Research Associate or Senior Research Associate to join our Protein Engineering team. This role is ideal for a highly motivated individual with strong molecular biology skills and a passion for scientific innovation. Tuesday and Wednesday are regular days off.
Compensation and Benefits:
The expected base salary range for this position is $60,000 - $100,000 annually. Actual compensation will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to a candidate’s qualifications, experience, and skills.
While most offers typically fall within the low to mid-point of the range, we may extend an offer toward the higher end for exceptional candidates whose background and expertise align strongly with the requirements of the role.

Responsibilities
- Perform routine and complex molecular biology techniques including PCR, Restriction Endonuclease Digestion, Gibson Assembly, Golden Gate Assembly, bacterial transformations, and plasmid purifications.
- Support high-throughput protein purification workflows to enable rapid screening and characterization of constructs.
- Maintain detailed records of experimental procedures and results in electronic lab notebooks.
- Collaborate with team members to support cloning and construct generation for protein expression.
- Assist in troubleshooting and optimizing molecular workflows to improve efficiency and throughput.
- Manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain lab organization and inventory of reagents and supplies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of post-graduation, hands-on laboratory experience in molecular biology techniques. Title level (RA or SRA) will be determined based on education and total years of relevant experience.
- Experience with protein purification or antibody-related workflows is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
