Position Description
We are looking for an associate to provide stock coverage within the Philippines listed market. The associate will provide stock recommendations based on thorough analysis, financial models and company/industry insights. While prior experience is an advantage, fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
Key Areas of Responsibilities
Provide proactive and differentiated research on the sector
Produce short and full research reports
Develop financial models & valuation databases for all stocks under primary coverage
Respond to market news, earnings releases, corporate developments and other market-moving information when necessary and in a proactive manner
Develop and maintain key client relationships
Actively engage with clients and the relevant sales team members to communicate ideas to ensure maximum exposure/return from the time invested in producing the report
Maintain sound working relationships with corporates, clients and government/industry organisations
Assist Head of Research and other members of the team on specific research projects
Collect data and compile answers for clients requests
Requirements
Bachelor degree or above in business related discipline, preferably with finance and/or accounting major – from reputable foreign or local universities. CPA, CFA, and MBA a plus.
0-3 years experience as a research analyst. Fresh graduates would be considered.
E-commerce working experience will be considered.
Strong analytical skills
Strong financial modelling and Excel/ spreadsheet skills
Excellent interpersonal sensitivity
High sense of commercial awareness
Excellent communication, relationship and management skills to both internal and external clients
Fluent in English
