About the Position

Ratio is seeking a Research Associate in Radiochemistry to aid in the discovery of novel Theranostic agents and join a growing team. This role is responsible for receiving, radiolabeling and testing our novel compounds.  The successful candidate will work independently, support scientific work and scientists as needed, and will guarantee accurate experimental records.  The ideal candidate will enjoy working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and will become skilled in preparing radiopharmaceuticals for molecular imaging and targeted radiotherapy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support operations in the radiochemistry laboratory.
  • Support the scientists in the radiochemistry department.
  • Attention to details.
  • Run quality control methods including HPLC, TLC and others.
  • Ensure timely delivery of quality radiolabeled products.
  • Ensure safety procedures are always followed in the radiochemistry department.
  • Communicate results to management in a clear and timely manner.
  • Ensure clear and accurate experimental records are maintained.

Qualifications:

  • BSc in Chemistry, Radiochemistry or related Field.
  • 0-3 years of experience in chemistry, radiochemistry, or radiopharmacy.
  • Basic chemistry knowledge.
  • Basic Laboratory experience.
  • GPA of 3.5 or above.
  • Strong communication skills, including proficiency in English (both written and oral).

The annual base salary for this role is expected to range between $68,000.00 and $78,000.00. This range is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.  The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including qualifications, work experience, skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
