Euromonitor International seeks a talented individual looking to further their career in market research. If you have a keen interest in market research, excellent numeracy skills and the desire to be at the forefront of providing business intelligence on the dynamics of fast moving consumer goods industries, Euromonitor wants to hear from you.
All applicants will need to demonstrate a keen interest in, and knowledge of, consumer trends and the lifestyle issues which surround them. Spanish and English language fluency is required. This position is based out of the Mexico City office.
Key responsibilities
The Research Analyst is responsible for updating sections of new and existing datasets and reports for select consumer industries, with key focus on delivering data and supporting data solutions for the Euromonitor research program.
The role includes:
- Secondary and primary research for select industries
- Data finalization and delivery for select industries
- Country report writing related to Mexico developments in respective industries
- Responding to client queries related to data and analysis published on the respective industries for Mexico
- Supporting regional data team on research/industries data development
Skills and proficiencies required:
- 2 years of experience in research required
- Skills in secondary research as well as primary research, including gathering inputs from multiple industries through discussions with industry stakeholders
- Superb numeracy and analytical skills, including Excel
- Analysis and report writing
- Strong attention to detail and tenacity
- Fluency in Spanish and English required
- The ability to work independently and under pressure to meet deadlines
- Applicants should be flexible, proactive and possess a strong sense of personal responsibility for continued improvement
- Ability to think outside the box are important
