You will join a collaborative team of scientists studying the roles of gene-environment interactions in the etiology, treatment, and prevention of human disease in an academic setting. Our investigations into complex system-level responses utilize multi-omic approaches in in vivo and in vitro models. We are seeking a person with strong experience in animal research and molecular/cellular techniques. Lab managerial and strong oral and written communication skills are required. You should possess a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in a science-related field plus one to two years of appropriate research-based experience. A research-based master's degree may substitute for the required research experience. This is a limited position; continuation is dependent on funding availability. ResponsibilitiesResponsible for performing research and development experiments for projects and products in collaboration with others. Regularly exercises technical discretion in the design, execution and interpretation of experiments that contribute to project goals. Prepares technical reports, summaries, protocols, and quantitative analyses. May participate in external seminars and scientific conferences.
QualificationsBachelor’s degree in relevant area and one to two years of appropriate experience. Relevant experience may substitute for required education.
