What You'll Do:
We are seeking an Research Associate who will be responsible for routine screening of compounds in various in vitro toxicology assays.
Responsible for planning and conducting high and low throughput toxicology screens, processing data to a high quality of standards, and within specified time frames.
Assist Senior level Scientists with validation and investigative assays.
Monitor and maintain stock consumables where required.
Assist with the validation and routine maintenance of laboratory equipment.
Provide support to the Senior Scientist, Laboratory Supervisors and Senior Research Scientist when trouble shooting.
Identify, within their group, where support is required and manages their own time sufficiently to provide this support.
Follow safety regulations and quality control procedures.
Report any issues of concern and discuss/advise scientific strategy with the Laboratory Supervisor and/or Senior Research Scientist.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor of Science or another related field required.
- 2 years plus experience working within industry (pharma or CRO).
- Effective communication and organizational skills, and the ability to troubleshoot and multitask under pressure of deadlines are important.
The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be $66,775 to $90,325. This is a salaried exempt position. Base salary offered may vary depending on the individual’s skills, experience and competitive market value.
