JOB DESCRIPTION: Research Analyst

Irwin Data Collection & Research team specializes in providing tools that help businesses manage their investor relations activities, engage with shareholders, and enhance communication with the financial markets. These services are designed to improve how companies interact with investors and streamline related processes.
As a Research Analyst, you will be responsible for collating, maintaining, and updating relevant fields in the database with accurate information in accordance with the defined work process. You will be analyzing these content sets by reviewing official updates from our trusted sources that can be in the form of feeds, corporate action mails, press releases, and other reports; thereby making it available to FactSet clients in real-time and in top quality. You will report to the Team Lead and assist in meeting the team’s business goals by meeting your individual targets. As an individual contributor, you shall be responsible for your own performance in all assigned tasks.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Data Analysis: Collect and analyze investor data to identify trends and insights that can inform strategic decisions and improve investor relations efforts.
- Market Research: Conduct research on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to provide contextual insights that support investor relations strategies.
- Database Management: Maintain and update databases of investor information, ensuring the accuracy and relevance of data used in communications and reporting.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Current Designation should be RA/SRA or equivalent role.
- Current tenure requirement at least 18 months in FactSet.
- Minimum previous rating should be Achieved Goals or better.
- Employee should not be in PIP.
- Employee must have a clean disciplinary record and demonstrate a history of professional conduct.
- Excellent research and analytical skills
- Very good written and oral communication skills in English
- Good knowledge of Excel. Must be able to manipulate large spreadsheets
- Employees possess knowledge and experience with people jobs and/or company profiling is an advantage.
- Undergraduate degree in Commerce / Business Management / Finance / Accounting / Economics or equivalent
- Computer Literacy Effectively use the database and software for collection and processing of content/data.
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to changes in country coverage based on the needs of the department
- Enthusiastic, a strong sense of initiative
- Good knowledge of Excel. Must be able to manipulate large spreadsheets
- Strong command and understanding of modules and rules
