The incoming individual will contribute to L&I and Retail related research activities across the EMEA region, including sourcing, working with and analyzing data as well as participating in thought-leadership generation and client-focused support.Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Work with internal stakeholders to coordinate EMEA level L&I and retail data including existing stock, rental values, capital values, yields, supply, demand, vacancy rates and other real estate data points.
Through the analysis of data and identification of trends and perspectives, contribute to and help develop pan-regional L&I and retail sector thought leadership and regular reporting, including developing efficient methods/automation of data management and collateral generation.
Support client engagement, including preparing presentations on the pan-regional L&I and retail sector for clients across EMEA.
Liaising with local EMEA research teams;
To coordinate and collaborate on L&I and retail data. Support the roll out of Property Planet across EMEA where this involves logistics, industrial or retail data.
To understand Cushman & Wakefield L&I and retail research outputs and coordinate at a regional level seeking opportunities to regionalize content.
Liaise with L&I and Retail market-facing colleagues collecting information from them while reciprocating with data and insight to support client engagement/prospecting/pitching.
Contribute to building the profile of the firm as it relates to L&I and retail market research across the region, including engaging regularly with Marketing colleagues to ensure that all L&I and retail related content is being picked up and fully leveraged with appropriate audiences.
Perform other related duties as required.
Knowledge & Experience:
Knowledge and experience of working within L&I and retail real estate sector research with willingness to learn and “dive deep” on key subject areas.
Excellent data management skills including attention to detail and timelines. Experience with database initiation/creation, quantitative market analysis and data management.
Proficiency in data analytics information technology, particularly Power BI, PowerQuery and Excel.
Strong communications skills (presentation, written). Skilled in preparing presentations in PowerPoint and in delivering presentations both in person and online.
Strong capability to problem-solve with the ability to work effectively, efficiently, and independently in a deadline-driven, dynamic environment.
Initiative to develop ideas into new projects or themes to explore in concert with Head of EMEA L&I and Retail Research.
Excellent teamwork skills, particularly working with teams based across service lines and geographies (especially Europe and globally).
