Position Description
We are looking for an individual who is passionate about equity research to join our research team in Korea.
Key Areas of Responsibilities
Conduct in-depth analysis and write research reports on Korean Autos and EV batteries sector
Perform detailed analysis of individual companies based on industry research
Build and maintain industry and company financial models
Prepare regular updates on market moving news and interpret data points and events impacting the sector and coverage companies
Work closely with the regional analysts on producing cross-sector research reports, analyze key sector trends and emerging market opportunities
Handle internal sales and external clients’ requests for industry data, opinion and insights.
Prepare marketing materials, organize investor trips and conduct channel checks
Develop strong relationships with industry contacts and companies’ management
Supervise and review the work of junior associate(s) within the research team
Requirement
University degree (finance, business, accounting or related major preferred)
5-8 years of experience in equity research, with 3-4 years as a writing analyst
Strong knowledge of financial modeling, data analytics and equity valuation
Detail oriented, responsible, ability to work in teams and a commitment to excellence
Ability to perform under high-pressure situations and manage priorities
Good interpersonal, communications and presentation skills
Fluency in written and verbal communication in English and Korean
