About EdelmanNEXT
EdelmanNEXT is our enriched internship program designed to provide real-world experience, training, and mentorship. You’ll be empowered with the skills and exposure to kickstart a career in research, communications, or marketing analytics.
This full-time, 6-month internship (Jul to Dec 2026) includes a well-rounded curriculum where you will:
- Gain exposure to integrated communications and how insights drive brand value.
- Learn how to conduct research using both traditional and AI-enabled methods.
- Contribute to editorial and creative content development.
- Understand how data, dashboards, and automation power modern storytelling.
- Participate in client events and cross-functional collaboration.

What You’ll Do
As part of the Data & Intelligence (DXI) team, you’ll support high-profile client projects across primary, secondary, and AI-assisted research. With training and guidance, you’ll:
- Assist with project coordination and research execution — from scoping to delivery.
- Support research design, data collection, quality control, and analysis.
- Contribute to both qualitative and quantitative research efforts.
- Use AI-enabled tools for media monitoring, sentiment analysis, and trend detection.
- Help configure and optimize dashboards and automated reporting tools.
- Analyze media and social content for key metrics (e.g., sentiment, influencers, messaging).
- Conduct desk research and landscape reviews to support strategic insights.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
What We’re Looking For
- A quick learner with a growth mindset and strong attention to detail.
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational, communication, and writing skills.
- Interest in data, research, and how AI is transforming the insights space.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office; bonus if you’ve dabbled in tools like Power BI, Tableau, or social listening platforms.
- Exposure to data analysis, statistics, or research methods (qual or quant) is a plus.
- Experience with SPSS, Python, or other analytics tools is a bonus — but not required.
Preferred Background
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Social Sciences, Communications, Business, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Curious about how insights shape brand strategy, public opinion, and media narratives.
- Eager to explore how AI can enhance research workflows and storytelling.
