Research Analyst – Connected, Autonomous and Electric Vehicles

Description

Reporting to the End Markets Vice President, ABI Research seeks an analyst covering the automotive and smart mobility markets. The successful candidate will contribute to the Automotive research service, focusing on software-defined vehicle and electrification technologies, and will work as a part of an ambitious team to produce premium quantitative and qualitative analysis.     

Specific responsibilities

• Author syndicated research reports, market forecasts, and articles covering software-defined vehicle technologies and markets with topics including software-defined vehicles, electrification, OTA updates, E/E architectures, autonomous driving and cooperative mobility.
• Work on smart mobility research and consulting projects, providing leadership on approach and methodology.
• Represent ABI Research as a key expert in our automotive coverage areas.
• Interview key stakeholders across the entire automotive supply chain to understand how connectivity, autonomous driving and electrification will transform personal mobility.
• Prepare presentations and participate in automotive technology conferences, webinars, and online events.
• Be an active team member and own a significant part of the overall automotive research agenda, including commercial activities.
• Support and share expertise with other ABI Research analysts.
• Support sales and business development activities by preparing customer-specific analysis, and by participating in key meetings with clients, prospects, and partners.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Eloquent and outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in both quantitative and qualitative analysis would be beneficial.
• Passion and enthusiasm for technology innovation are a must for this role.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University

Location

ABI Research is fully remote in the U.S., with physical offices in the U.K. and Singapore. Analysts may be fully remote, report to an office, or operate in a hybrid role based on skills and experience.
