Reprographics Operator
Salary: £26,900 per annum + 7.5% shift allowance (£28,917.50 total), plus company benefits
Location: London EC1A 1HQ
Contract: Full Time
Shifts: Monday through Friday 07:00-15:00 or 15:00-23:00 rotating weekly shift
There is an occasional requirement to cover night shifts (23:00–07:00)
Work model: Fully onsite

Purpose of role
As a Reprographics Operator at Williams Lea, you will play a pivotal role in providing an exceptional client experience for our financial services client. You will report to the Team Leader to carry out all reprographic related duties in line with operational procedures.
Key responsibilities
- Demonstrate pride and professionalism in all aspects of customer service
- Develop excellent working relations with clients, demonstrating strong communication skills
- Ensure all aspects of job requisition / instructions and other relevant information is checked and correct prior to production
- Relate accurate information to users on the progression of their work. When deadlines cannot be met ensure Senior Operator/Team Leader is informed within sufficient time
- To be proficient in the operation of networked devices
- Demonstrate a thorough working knowledge of all machines, with an ability to manipulate colour work through a variety of software packages
- To operate all production equipment to the highest standards, in line with job specification or user specification
- Detect mistakes during production and quality check all finished work before delivery to the end user, provide proof copies where necessary
- Take ownership of each job produced and in conjunction with Senior Operator/Team Leader ensure end users are informed about production of their work and deadlines at all times
- Advise appropriate person when stock levels are low
- Perform light maintenance on machines, i.e. change toner, clear paper jams, etcetera
- Efficient in Fiery Impose & Compose setup
- Microsoft Office efficient for sending files to print
- Adobe Pro efficient for the purpose of sending work to print
Personal attributes
- Understand Reprographics
- Good Fiery skills with Compose & Impose knowledge
- Wide format experience would be beneficial, but this can be trained.
- Keen to learn, with a can do attitude
