We're looking for a Registration Representative to join our growing team. Registration Representatives address all back-office registration issues, which are typically identified during claim edit scrubbing, electronic payer rejections, and/or payer denials. Utilize real-time eligibility software in EPIC for troubleshooting. If resources for resolution are unavailable, contact the guarantor via statement or letter for assistance. The applicant must have a thorough understanding of insurance eligibility and the connection between eligibility responses, payers, and payer plans in EPIC.

  • Review and resolve claim edits associated with registration errors
  • Review and resolve 277 rejections from the payer associated with registration errors
  • Review and resolve denials from the payer associated with registration errors
  • Utilize Real Time Eligibility in EPIC to troubleshoot registration issues
  • Review RTE responses in EPIC to determine if there is a payer mapping issue or end user error
  • Understanding how payers, alternate payers and payer plans work in EPIC
  • Load payers, remove payers, change payer order, etc. when necessary

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • A minimum of one to three months experience and/or training; or equivalent combination or education and experience required.
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office applications
  • Knowledge of office software and medical billing software.
  • Must have the ability to get along with others in a close office setting.
  • Must have the ability to concentrate for extended periods of time.
  • Must be willing to function and cooperate as a member of a team.

Ability to: read and comprehend complex instructions, correspondence, and memos; write and present information to leadership, vendors, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Have the ability to compare rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret various graphs.

Ability to: deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations; plan, organize, delegate, and prioritize work; provide clear and effective direction to staff; communicate effectively orally and in writing; establish and maintain effective working relationships with MedSrv departments, vendors, other businesses, and our clients; Must be able to multi-task.

You may be required to lift between 30-50lbs at times. Limited.
