Role Summary & Impact
The Media Analyst will be a pivotal member of a dedicated client team, providing in-depth analytical support that transforms media campaign data into actionable intelligence. This role is focused on comprehensive data analysis, interpretation, and strategic reporting to empower internal media planning and buying teams, ensuring effective campaign execution, proactive optimization, and informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and track media campaign effectiveness against defined KPIs, utilizing reporting systems and internal tools, identifying root causes for performance fluctuations and proposing solutions.
- Develop and deliver regular and ad-hoc campaign reports, interactive dashboards, and compelling presentations for the client team, translating complex data into clear narratives and visual stories that drive strategic action.
- Conduct thorough competitive analysis and investment analysis to benchmark client media activity within the market, offering context and foresight for strategic planning.
- Perform internal data audits and rigorous quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency in reporting, implementing best practices for data integrity and data governance.
- Collaborate closely with media planning and buying teams, providing precise and timely data for campaign optimization and future strategy definition, actively participating in data-driven strategy discussions.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of reporting frameworks and analytical approaches to meet evolving business needs.
Requirements
- 2/3 years of previous experience in media agencies, in reporting, analytical, or data-focused roles.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, data visualization).
- Good knowledge of main market software (e.g., Nielsen Aqx, Arianna, Mcs).
- Familiarity with media reporting systems and ad servers.
- Strong analytical skills, critical thinking, and a meticulous attention to detail with the ability to interpret data and draw meaningful conclusions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex data findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Good command of the English language (written and spoken).
- A keen interest in leveraging data and emerging technologies, including AI tools, for enhanced understanding and efficiency and predictive insights.
