Job Description
Responsible for the design and delivery of reporting and business analysis for use by a large client base and internal requests to coordinate with software enhancements. Develop new and maintain existing reports. Communication with end-users is key to the needs analysis stage, and time/cost estimates will be prepared for each project. The role requires the testing of custom reports independently. Also involved in the reporting process is SQL development.
Job Responsibilities & Requirements
- Perform analysis on complex data sets to provide meaningful information
- Gather reporting requirements, design reports, and release reports into production
- Coordinate meetings with customers, draw out information to create report specifications, and develop cost estimates
- Maintain records of daily data communication transactions, problems and remedial actions taken, or installation activities with use in Salesforce
- As needed, work on assigned projects from Technical Support Manager or Technical Representative IV which require more time to resolve
- When needed works directly with Product Management and Software Development as part of a decision-making team to ensure proper correction of defects and implementation of enhancements into the software
Qualifications
- Associates Related Field required
- 2+ Years of experience developing reports required
- 2 years of experience in Truss design or framing preferred
- Experience working in a SQL Server database development, including tables, stored procedures, and functions required
- Knowledge in Power BI and data visualizations required
- Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, Terminal Server/Citrix environments, various networking environments or AutoCAD a plus.
- Equivalent combination of experience and education which clearly indicates the ability to perform the essential functions of the position may substitute on a year for year basis
Soft Skills
- Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills. Customer Service experience. Tendency to pay close attention to small details that could impact results.
