About The RoleThe Reporting Lead owns the end‑to‑end reporting framework, ensuring management information is accurate, relevant, and drives confident decision‑making across Dyson. The role focuses on critically reviewing MI, challenging data quality and interpretation, and strengthening how insights are presented and used by the business. Alongside this, the role ensures reporting solutions are sustainable, automated where appropriate, and continuously improved.
Key Responsibilities
Management Information & Reporting Framework
· Own the overall reporting framework, working with key stakeholders to develop and improve this.
· Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and support their MI needs.
· Assess the relevance of reporting, understand the content and provide insights on its use.
· Deliver Excel-based MI reports in line with agreed requirements, standards, and timelines.
· Ensure MI outputs are accurate, consistent, and clearly documented.
Excel Automation & VBA Development
· Develop and maintain VBA solutions to automate data preparation, consolidation, and reporting.
· Enhance existing MI tools to reduce manual effort and improve robustness.
· Apply structured Excel design principles to ensure scalability and maintainability.
Data Quality & Controls
· Apply data validation, reconciliation, and exception handling checks.
· Maintain consistent KPI and metric definitions within reporting outputs.
· Escalate data quality issues where required.
