Core Responsibilities
The primary responsibility of this role is to act as an expert on global data collection and analytics development around our nature topics - water, waste, pollution, and biodiversity.
You will support our goal to better understand our effects and help to create predictive analytics, dashboarding, and targets setting that enables us to achieve our sustainability ambitions. Additionally, you will be ensuring our accurate and auditable voluntary reporting, while contributing to compliance-based reporting. More specifically you will:
Collect, analyze, and interpret relevant sustainability data, including all environmental factors excluding carbon, to help promote sustainability practices and areas of improvement throughout the global value chain
Generate comprehensive reports, dashboards, and visualization tools to communicate insights and facilitate data-driven decision-making
Develop and implement effective data analytics strategies and methodologies, including implementation of controls to ensure compliance with relevant sustainability regulations and standards
Oversee the compilation of our CDP report for Water and Forestry and contribute to our CSRD and other compliance-based reporting with our team of experts
Collaborate with teams to identify key performance indicators and establish benchmarks for sustainability metrics for analytics creation
Identify IT systems and tools vital to support the global objectives, collaborating with internal and external digital teams to develop and maintain said systems

The Nature Impacts team sits within the core LEGO Group Sustainability department and defines the global strategies for Water, Waste, Pollution and Biodiversity across the value chain, as well as beneficial actions to carbon and nature that sit outside the value chain.
This role will operate at the intersection of our Nature agenda, Corporate Reporting, and Predictive Analytics
Do you have what it takes?
Bachelor's degree or Master’s degree or equivalent experience in business, environmental science, sustainability, or another related field is required
Environmental data analytics compilation with one or more sector areas such as chemicals, machinery, packaging, logistics, construction products, electronics/tech
Ability to produce reports (screening-level and ISO-conformant, comparative and non-comparative) and presentations based on the results of environmental data compilation
Experience reporting against large external reporting platforms (e.g. CSRD, CDP, etc.)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with collaborators at all levels
Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to finding opportunities for improvement.
Proficient in English, written and verbal
