Overview
The Reporting Analyst will be a proactive partner to the Finance and Accounting team and other internal customers to understand business challenges and reporting needs. You will identify datasets and accurately analyze and validate data quality for reporting needs and collaborate with business developers to model out that data to provide the best reporting solution for internal customers.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with multiple teams and departments to propose, design, and guide the implementation of new reporting solutions and in some cases, support the implementation of changes in business processes
- Develop wireframes and document the proper workflow process to support the design and development of Reporting Solutions for our customers
- Research new datasets and combine information from multiple sources, conduct data gap analysis, perform DAX queries and functions, data modelling and basic M (Power Query Editor) capabilities, and basic SQL querying to visualize tables and data structures for best results
- Partner with Finance and Accounting to understand the business process requirements to design, develop, test, and implement automated dashboards and reports to provide meaningful insights that drive action or help in decision making to support the department and various divisions across Esri
- Collaborate and partner with Finance and Accounting teams for continuous process improvement in Reporting initiatives and other operational initiatives that best supports decision making by leadership
- Support various accounting and reporting analyses and technical accounting research when needed
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a similar Analyst position
- Excellent written and communication skills, with the ability to adapt communication style based on audience
- Ability to communicate with the business and translate those requirements in a technical format to the Data Developers
- Strong critical thinking skills to help solve business problems and make decisions
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including diplomacy, negotiating, reasoning, and problem solving
- Ability to develop strong analytical skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs
- Detail oriented to ensure data accuracy
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
