That’s Nice, But What’s the Job?

• Possesses general understanding of Loss Mitigation processes including Replevin, Deficiency Collections, Bankruptcy and Vendor Management.

• Provides daily goals and strategy to their teams that will maximize long-term success.

• Monitors and reviews the process and work of each team to ensure it is effective, within policy and procedure.

• Administers continuous training and coaching to ensure quality customer service.

• Identifies and recommends methods to improve processes and business operations.

• Provides proactive leadership to the team to achieve maximum performance and continued individual development and succession planning across the department.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs): What KSAs are required to perform this job?

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ability to talk and write with confidence, charisma and competence for a wide variety of audiences including management.

• Love of listening. We need folks that listen with the intent to understand, not just reply.

• Plays well with others. You will be working in a high-functioning team environment. We work together in order to win together.

• Self-driven yet selfless. We need someone capable of managing their own time and business, yet is capable of making decisions for the betterment of DriveTime - not just themselves.

Work Experience/Education:

• High School Degree Required. Bachelor's Degree preferred.

• 2+ years of management experience in a call center or retail environment.

• Knowledge of Fair Debt Collection Practices Act is a plus.

• Required to work a flexible schedule including some evenings and Saturdays.

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 75% of the time
• Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
• Requires visual acuity and manual dexterity to constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and printer
• Frequently communicate with internal and external customers. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
• This position could require moving objects up to 20 pounds
