Job Summary

As a Replenishment Planning Manager, your primary purpose is to ensure the seamless flow of inventory throughout the supply chain, optimizing stock levels, and meeting customer demands efficiently. By analyzing data, implementing replenishment strategies, and collaborating with various teams, you will contribute to maximizing sales, minimizing stockouts, and achieving overall business objectives. Your expertise and leadership will be instrumental in driving operational excellence and delivering exceptional customer service. Your key KPI goal is Fill Rate, Ontime in Full, and reduce out of stock by DC and consignment location.

Principle Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute replenishment strategies: Collaborate with cross- functional teams to establish effective replenishment strategies that align with company goals. Analyze inventory levels, sales forecasts, and historical data to determine optimal stock levels, reorder points, and lead times. Continuously monitor and adjust strategies to meet changing market demands.
  • Oversee inventory levels across multiple locations, ensuring accuracy, availability, and alignment with sales  targets. Utilize inventory management systems to track stock movements, identify slow-moving or excess items, and implement corrective actions. Minimize stockouts and overstock situations through proactive planning and effective communication
  • Lead a team of replenishment planners, providing guidance, coaching, and support. Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team culture, encouraging innovation and continuous learning. Conduct performance evaluations, set goals, and identify development opportunities for team members
  • Work closely with various teams, including sales, demand and supply planning and logistics, to align replenishment strategies with business objectives. Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer demands and sales plans. Provide insights and recommendations to optimize product availability, reduce lead times, and enhance overall operational efficiency.

Qualification and Experience

  • University degree with a specialty in Supply Chain, Computers, Data Analytics, or Engineering discipline.
  • Other useful credentials and training include CPIM and Lean manufacturing.
  • 10+ year of relevant supply chain experience, preferably within an industrial
  • manufacturing or CPG environment; or relevant transferable skills and
  • experience
  • Strong analytical ability, good judgement, and problem-solving skills
  • Customer focus, with the drive for results
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel; ability to interpret large amounts of data; high attention to detail
  • Experience with data visualization and analysis using Power BI desirable
  • Ability to work independently, and as a team player
  • Adept at working in a fast-moving environment
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience with supply planning software desirable (especially SAP-IBP)
  • Bilingual (French/English) is an asset

The compensation for this position is between $ 70,800.00 - 88,500.00 CAN annually, based on experience and qualifications.

Skills Required

  • University degree specializing in Supply Chain, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related discipline
  • 10+ years of relevant supply chain experience
  • Experience in an industrial manufacturing or consumer packaged goods environment, or transferable equivalent experience
  • Strong analytical ability, judgment, and problem-solving skills
  • Customer focus and results orientation
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Ability to interpret large amounts of data and maintain strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
