The Repairs Coordinator manages equipment repairs by diagnosing issues, disassembling items for inspection, performing repairs, and coordinating shipping and order completion. They ensure timely customer service and assist in production when possible.

What you'll do:
- Receives equipment sent to VEGA for repair or return to stock in the MRA system.
- Test instruments for proper operation using test equipment and computer software, when applicable.
- Diagnoses customer repairs and routes them to the appropriate repair resource.
- Disassembles returned items and examines them for defects or other problems.
- Repairs, replaces, and/or reassembles returned items.
- Test new and repaired items.
- Add parts to repair orders using TopVis and PPSV.
- Expedite orders, including working with the Parts and Repair Order Administrator to ensure timely return to the customer.
- Take parts to shipping.
- Oversees repair/return to stock items, and recommends to the Parts and Repair Order Administrator whether or not credit should be given.
- Ensure that repair reports are included with all orders.
- Assist in production as time allows.
What you'll need:
- Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school
- AND six months to one year related experience
- OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read schematics.
- Ability to multitask and effectively manage time-sensitive tasks.
- Strong problem-solving skills and decision-making abilities.
