As a Renewals Specialist, you will play a critical role in helping customers continue their success journey with Minitab while contributing directly to the company’s growth. Working alongside sales, customer success, and other internal stakeholders, you will take ownership of customer renewal opportunities, strengthen client relationships, and help identify opportunities for customers to maximize the value they receive from Minitab’s solutions.

What You'll Do

Build and Strengthen Customer Relationships

  • Serve as the primary owner of assigned renewal opportunities, guiding customers through the renewal process from start to finish.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer organizations, including their business objectives, key stakeholders, buying processes, and evolving needs.
  • Build meaningful relationships with decision-makers, end users, license coordinators, procurement teams, and other stakeholders to expand Minitab’s presence within customer accounts.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed account information, including business profiles, competitive landscape insights, and key customer contacts.

Drive Successful Renewals and Growth

  • Proactively engage customers to ensure timely and successful renewals.
  • Understand customer use cases and business goals to recommend licensing options that best support their needs.
  • Help customers discover opportunities to expand their use of Minitab solutions while supporting increased adoption and customer investment.
  • Maintain opportunities and create renewal quotations through Minitab’s CRM system, maintaining pipeline and forecast for an assigned territory.

Support Operational Excellence

  • Ensure CRM records are maintained accurately and in compliance with Minitab’s Customer Engagement Lifecycle (CEL), forecasting, Renewal Business Unit programs, and pipeline management standards.
  • Adhere to all Minitab personnel, cybersecurity, sales, and contract policies.
  • Assist in resolving customer issues related to billing, invoices, and accounts receivable while ensuring a positive customer experience.

What You'll Bring

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Economics, or Business preferred; Associate degree or Technical College degree also considered.
  • Entry-level opportunity with strong potential for professional growth and development.
  • Experience with software contracts, subscriptions, or licensing is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Minitab products and services is a plus.
  • Knowledge of industries served by Minitab and their business drivers is a plus.
  • Understanding of Minitab’s Customer Engagement Lifecycle (CEL), Customer Success Framework (CSF), and competitive landscape is a plus.

Low co-pay pharmacy benefit and affordable family coverage plan is available. Short and Long Term Disability is fully paid by Minitab. LIFE INSURANCE:  Group Term Life Insurance is provided at no cost for full-time employees at three times employee base salary. Minitab provides eligible employees the opportunity to purchase Voluntary Life Insurance for themselves and eligible dependents at affordable rates.

RETIREMENT PLANNING:  A 401k Retirement Plan with T. Rowe Price is provided with eligible employee contribution immediately. Minitab will match dollar for dollar up to the first 6% of employee’s contribution. Employees are fully vested in the Minitab, LLC 401(k) Retirement Plan upon date of hire.

PAID TIME OFF:  Paid holidays, as well as 4 weeks of annual paid time off are provided. The annual paid time off increases one week every five years.

HYBRID WORK SCHEDULE:  We offer a hybrid work model for eligible positions.

PREMIUM BENEFITS:  At our State College, PA Headquarters, there is an onsite gym, indoor swimming pool, yoga studio, movie theater, outdoor sand volleyball court, game room, arcade room and even a golf simulator. Personal training and nutrition counseling is available upon request.
