We are looking for an experienced Renewals Manager to join our NOC contract based in Whangārei.

As a Renewals Manager, you are responsible for planning and delivery relating to the safe, efficient and productive delivery of works of the day-to-day NOC contract operations across the region. You will assist in delivery of productive renewals programmes including scoping, design review, organising resources and be responsible for the overall success of resurfacing, rehabilitation, drainage and retaining wall programmes.

In addition to the above you will have: 

  • Appropriate tertiary level qualifications – ideally Bachelor of Civil Engineering.

  • Experience / knowledge within civil contracting and of the contracting business.

  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in renewals (either road maintenance, resurfacing or construction).

  • Confident engaging with design engineers and internal supply chain on job specifications.

  • Full class 1 driver’s licence. 

  • Working knowledge of current legislation.

  • Knowledge of underlying engineering principles that represent good practice with NZ civil.

  • Experience in and understanding of project management principles.

  • Good understanding of traffic management planning.
