The renewal serves as an important milestone for us to help each of our customers plan for the future in a specific way that will allow them to unlock the maximum potential of our product. To lead these efforts, we are looking for a world-class Renewals Associate.
We're looking for someone excited to pitch the vision of Airtable and handle a significant volume of contracts for our Commercial business customers that need to be renewed. As a Renewals Associate on our Renewals Team, you will be the key driver in these conversations, while closely partnering with Account Executives in our Commercial sales segment. The Renewals Associate will be responsible for ensuring that the high volume of renewals closes on time, churn is mitigated, and our rolling forecast is maintained regularly and accurately.
This individual will collaborate closely with our Commercial Sales Team which is based out of Airtable’s Austin office. There is not a mandatory in-office requirement for this role, but this individual will need to be based out of Austin so cross-functional collaboration is made easier on in-office days.
What you'll do
- You will own, drive, and lead the renewals process in collaboration with the account team to preserve and enhance customer contracts and relationships
- You will actively engage with key decision-makers to identify customer requirements and uncover roadblocks to ensure renewals are managed effectively
- Creatively negotiate on behalf of Airtable to mitigate churn at renewal, improve renewal rates for customers in your book of business, and ensure renewals are closed on time
- You will maintain and report an accurate rolling 120-day forecast of renewals in your territory
- You will negotiate and execute renewal contracts that align with customer goals
- You will discover and identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities upon contract renewal to help Account Executives maximize customer growth
Who you are
- 1-2 years of quota-carrying Sales / Customer Success / Account Management experience
- Strong negotiation skills and demonstrated capability in closing large, complex contracts
- Strong collaboration skills and successful experiences working with internal XFN partners (Rev Ops, Biz Tech) as well as customer-facing counterparts (Sales & Success)
- Ability and eagerness to grow business in a strategic manner, i.e. creating new processes and initiatives
- Approaches work with empathy, craftsmanship, and a growth mindset - you are a self-motivated and proactive team player
- Solid understanding of Enterprise SaaS applications and collaboration technology
- Consistent track record of achieving personal and team goals
- History of thriving in a rapidly changing environment

$81,100—$105,700 USD
