応募要件(About You

  • 学士号または同等の学歴・関連職務経験
  • ライフサイエンスまたは製薬業界における営業経験 5年以上
  • コンサルティブセールスへの高い意欲
  • 日本語での優れた口頭および書面コミュニケーション能力
  • 強い英語のライティング能力(必須)
  • 基本的な英語でのコミュニケーション能力(必須)

  • サブスクリプションサービスの更新営業および新規営業の経験
  • ライフサイエンス領域のソフトウェア製品のダイレクトセールス経験
  • 顧客のワークフローや優先事項を理解し、クロスセルを支援できる能力
  • 製薬関連の教育バックグラウンド

主な業務内容(What will you be doing in this role?

  • オンボーディング、四半期レビュー、予算策定、契約更新交渉・締結を含む 12か月間のサブスクリプションライフサイクルの管理
  • 更新時期や更新プロセスに合わせ、アップセル・クロスセル機会を通じて 新規サブスクリプション売上を拡大
  • サブスクリプション契約におけるリスクを継続的に特定し、プロダクトオーナー、ソリューションエキスパート、アカウントマネージャー、トレーニングチームなど社内関係者と連携して リスク軽減プランを実施
  • CSM(カスタマーサクセスマネージャー)、請求チーム、法務、カスタマーケアなど クロスファンクショナルチームと密に連携して円滑な更新プロセスを確保
  • Salesforce などの CRM を利用し、更新関連活動や顧客対応の管理・記録
  • 担当地域における サブスクリプションビジネスの週次予測を正確に報告
  • 必要に応じて、顧客先への ごく少量の出張あり

勤務時間(Hours of Work

フルタイム勤務で、基本的な勤務時間は 9:3017:30。必要に応じてグローバルのタイムゾーンに対応できる柔軟性が求められます。
本ポジションは 23日のオフィス出社を含むハイブリッド勤務です。

We are looking for great Renewal Account Managers to join our growing team in Tokyo Japan. A career in Sales at Clarivate provides you with the opportunity to help shape the future of tomorrow. You will assist our customers through supporting the renewal and development of our growing subscription base, you will have the opportunity to develop your sales skills in while playing a critical role in driving growth and innovation.

About You
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, relevant work experience.

  • Minimum of 5 years direct sales experience within life science or pharmaceutical industry

  • Good motivation to a consultative sales role.

  • Proficient in both spoken and written Japanese.

  • Strong written English skills are mandatory.

  • Basic communication skills in English are required.

It would be great if you also have . . .  
  • Prior experience with selling subscriptions both renewal sales and new business

  • Direct sales experience in LS software products

  • Demonstrated ability to understand customer workflows and priorities to assist with cross-selling

  • Education background related to pharmaceutical

What will you be doing in this role?
  • Own the 12-month process of the subscription life cycle inclusive on onboarding, quarterly account reviews, budgeting and renewal negotiation inclusive on contract execution

  • Grow new business subscriptions through managing up-sell and cross-sell opportunities during or at the point of renewal

  • Continually identify directional risk in your subscription book of business and implement risk mitigation plans in conjunction with matrix of internal resources inclusive of product owners, solution experts, account manager and trainings teams.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Customer Success Managers (CSM), Billing, Legal, and Customer Care & etc, to ensure a seamless and efficient renewal process..

  • Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software (e.g., Salesforce) to manage renewal activities & track client interactions.

  • Provide accurate weekly forecasts for territory total subscription business.

  • Minimum travel is require for customer visit on site.

Hours of Work

This is a full-time position, primarily working core business hours from 9:30am to 5:30pm, with flexibility to adjust to various global time zones as needed.  This is a hybrid position working in the office up to 2 to 3 days a week.
