About the Role
We arelooking for a Renewals Specialist to join our APAC Renewals team. In thisposition you will be responsible for existing customer relations and renewalbusiness in your assigned territory. The role requires close collaborationdirectly with customers and Account Managers. You will also work with CustomerSuccess to retain and expand our customer base. Managing a positive customerexperience is a critical component of this role with a focus on retention andgrowth.
The role is based in our India office located in Bangalore.
You will
- Manage renewal contracts within an assigned territory to ensure on-time bookings
- Communicate with customers through online meetings, via phone and email
- Understand budgets, stakeholders, requirements, and approval processes in line with MEDDIC methodology
- Sell licenses for software development, user interface design, automated user interface testing, code- and architecture analysis and testing coverage measurement
- Collaborate closely with Account Managers, Sales Engineers, and Customer Success to align on customer strategies and coordinate customer-facing communication
- Use value selling to defend against competitive and pricing pressure
- Discover potential license expansions to refer up-and cross-selling opportunities to Account Managers
- Provide regular updates on renewal statuses and escalate customer requests as needed
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address complex customer requests
- Meet or exceed annual and quarterly revenue goals
About You
- Academic or similar degree in Business
- 2+ years of relevant experience in BDR/SDR, Inside Sales, Renewals or Customer Success– preferably in the technology industry
- Strong critical and analytical thinking
- Very good communication and presentation skills
- Independent and confident workstyle
- Eager to learn and improve skillset
- Excellent verbal and written skills in English
Beneficial skills
- Experience with Salesforce is a plus
- Knowledge of software development and quality assurance processes is considered as an advantage
