Job Description
We are currently looking for a new colleague to join the Control Room Office of the Ignitis Renewables team, where you’ll be responsible for monitoring and controlling various systems, equipment, and processes critical to our operations. You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:
- Monitoring and controlling systems, equipment, and processes using control panels and computer systems
- Contributing to reporting routines on technical and commercial efficiency of wind turbines, solar parks, and BESS assets
- Responding promptly to alarms and alerts, investigating, and resolving issues as they arise
- Implementing emergency procedures to ensure the safety of personnel and equipment when needed
- Communicating effectively with team members, supervisors, and external agencies as required
- Keeping accurate records of equipment status, operational logs, and incidents, preparing reports as needed
- Performing basic maintenance and troubleshooting of control room equipment and reporting malfunctions to maintenance teams
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards while staying updated with the latest industry practices and undergoing training.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical diploma or associate degree in a relevant field
- Proven experience with data collection and exchange systems
- Strong technical proficiency, particularly with control systems and monitoring equipment
- Advanced proficiency in using computer systems, software, and data analysis tools
- Ability to work effectively in compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
- Willingness to work shifts, including evenings,and holidays
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy.
Would be an advantage:
- In-depth understanding of the differences between on-premise and cloud-based SaaS systems.
