The Renewable Energy Engineering Lead at Redaptive Inc. will play a critical role in driving energy efficiency solutions and managing customer relationships. This position combines technical sales leadership and leadership of an engineering team with guidance to suppliers on best practices for audits and proposals. The role is based at our Denver, CO headquarters and offers a hybrid work-from-home/office environment.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Lead wind, geothermal, solar + storage, or other renewable energy-related discovery calls with customers to assess portfolio opportunities.
- Lead wind, geothermal, solar + storage, or other renewable energy-related programs as part of sales processes.
- Lead wind, geothermal, solar + storage, or other renewable energy-related customer contract negotiations.
- Manage and mentor a team of engineers, ensuring project success, timeline adherence, and quality assurance.
- Develop and implement best practices for supplier audits and proposals, prioritizing sustainability, efficiency, and quality.
- Collaborate with suppliers to enhance proposals and deliverables' processes, quality, and efficiency.
- Convert high-quality solutions into proposals with a high success rate for contract signing and seamless implementation.
Required Abilities and Skills
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams.
- Knowledge of ITC benefits is a plus.
- Expertise in renewable energy engineering principles and energy efficiency technologies.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical information effectively.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal and external technical stakeholders.
- Ability to scale technical processes and deliverables.
Education and Experience
- Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in technical sales and engineering management.
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, civil, or renewable energy engineering or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Experience leading customer calls and meetings.
- Experience managing internal workflow between sales and operations.
- Experience leading a team – a global team is a plus.
- Familiarity with technical project management tools and software is a plus.
