Description:Provides technical, business process and operational leadership and guidance by collaborating with Business Partners and Business Leaders, across the organization to identify and address the operational business needs for integration into the HR Shared Service Center. Responsible for managing projects that vary in nature and complexity of requirements. Oversees and ensures alignment of HR, Payroll, Benefits, and Time and Attendance programs and services with consideration of strategic business objectives and needs. Responsible for all phases of integration and implementation of all current and new HM/RHM(s) transitioning to the HR Service Center model. Works in a project team to provide customers with effective solutions that are aligned to reliable, repeatable and quality implementation practices. Responsibilities of the position include the initial needs assessment related to a new process, procedure or system (Discovery), creating and maintaining a project plan, coordinating project resources both internal and external, providing demonstration to system solutions, lead process and system testing and facilitate required training, and the successful transfer of processes to HR Shared Service Center and Center of Expertise. Assignments require interfacing with, gathering information from and making presentations to various levels of management and internal leaders.

*In addition to in-depth technical Workday knowledge and expertise, this role will require strong Project Management skills - Meeting with end users, stakeholders. Keeping the project plan updated and immediately addressing issues, roadblocks. Excellent communication and time management skills will be critical to the success of the project. This is a highly visible role interacting with multiple departments, end users and stakeholders on a daily basis.

HR systems management, with a focus on application analysis and process improvement. Workday Help, Journeys, and messaging experience highly preferred.   

Strong understanding of HR systems and technologies, with experience in implementation and optimization.

Performs work assignments that are complex and highly visible demanding a breadth of knowledge of a number of varied applications (HRMS, Customer Relationship Management System (CRM), Time and Attendance, and Applicant Tracking Systems) - functions or disciplines; proficient analytical, investigative, and evaluative skills, and the ability to integrate, coordinate and control the activities of others while retaining primary accountability for end results.

Performs detailed current and future state gap analysis of new HR processes at each Health Ministry and identifies plans to convert the Ministry Organization to the desired future state.

Provides consultation to internal management, leaders, HM/RHM staff and management and other stakeholders.  Serves as the Project Manager, drives the process to ensure timelines are met and provides specialized technical guidance and resolution to challenging and variable situations requiring analytical, interpretive, constructive and evaluative thinking.

Develops project plans, action steps and related status reports/summaries while driving attainment of desired outcomes ensuring project is on time, meets and/or exceeds client expectations and follows internal processes.  Reviews Project Plan to ensure customer understands how impact of implementation will affect future internal HR processes.

Conducts preliminary interviews with client to review changes, needs and processes to complete the implementation successfully. Process may include formal needs analysis, gap and fit analysis.

Conducts needs assessment, identifies organizational risks and opportunities, develops strategic and tactical approaches, seeks specialized functional expertise and manages overall performance expectations and deliverables.

Works in conjunction with resources within and outside of the team in the completion of an implementation. Promotes teamwork among those working on the implementation, developing a working relationship with internal resources, customers and peers. Works independently at resolving project issues and escalating when appropriate.

Prepares customer for completion of an implementation. Reviews processes with customers. Provides hands-on training HM/RHM customers and internal HR Service Center customers. Responsible for quality of implementation. Assesses quality by reviewing customer feedback at the end of implementation. Designs and develops training plan, procedures, and job aids for customers.

Translates business process requirements into configuration requirements with differing levels of complexity requires analytical skill and detailed problem determination as problems are often unprecedented. Provides appropriate resolution, coordination and implementation of best practices.

Works with HM/RHM HR Leaders to plan, define, validate and impart the organization’s overall HR Service Center philosophy, strategy, approach and business need in the design and implementation of all Service Center integrations

Develops effective relationships and partnerships with leaders in order to support HM/RHM initiatives and ensure the successful implementation of targeted goals and objectives.

Facilitates a coordinated communication plan ensuring leaders, customers and stakeholders are apprised of initiatives through meetings, reports/summaries, to ensure a smooth transition to HR Service Center team.

Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations, Trinity Health Corporate Integrity Program, Code of Ethics, as well as other policies and procedures in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical, and professional behavior.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must possess a comprehensive knowledge of Human Resources, laws and regulations, compensation and benefits, employee on-boarding, performance management, talent acquisition and management, as normally obtained through a Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration or a related field with a minimum of five (5) years of experience of progressively responsible experience including but not limited to implementation of HR programs and initiatives; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Strong leadership, integration and execution skills.  Considerable experience in planning, formulating and executing strategies. Ability to define program, process or business objectives and scope.  Demonstrated proficiency and expertise to identify, evaluate and articulate operational opportunities and risks, business needs/gaps, and understand customer/stakeholder interests.

Strong interpersonal, consultative and relationship building skills in order to initiate and develop productive collaborative partnerships with all levels of management/leadership and varied functional areas.  Ability to effectively influence results, garner support and tactfully manage complex relationships within and across the organization.  Ability to read the subtle nuances of situations and react/plan accordingly.

Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to effectively identify, assess and facilitate improvements and resolutions and to present advisory, persuasive and authoritative recommendations to all levels of the organization.

Professional judgment, foresight and analytical abilities in order to adapt to a dynamic and multi-functional work environment. Ability to respond to new initiatives, anticipate opportunities, address challenges and influence other exhibiting an unflappable and collaborative leadership style.

Advanced proficiency with Microsoft product suite (MS Word, Excel, and Power Point) and ability to develop spreadsheets, graphical presentations, reports and summaries.

Must possess a high degree of analytical, interpretive, evaluative and problem solving skills.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.  Demonstrated ability to manage multiple, concurrently running projects and adapt to changing deadlines, competing priorities and unexpected assignments.

Ability to respect confidential and sensitive information and understand and honor lines of accountability.

Some knowledge of organization policies, procedures and processes.

Ability to operate in an ambiguous and matrix organizational structure.  Ability to operate in a highly autonomous self-directed manner under frequently changing structures, requirements and priorities.

Must be comfortable operating in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.

Must possess a personal presence that is characterized by a sense of honesty, integrity, and caring with the ability to inspire and motivate others to promote the philosophy, mission, vision, goals, and values of Trinity Health.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

Must be able to set and organize own work priorities and adapt to them as they change frequently. Must be able to work concurrently on a variety of tasks/projects in an environment that may be stressful with individuals having diverse personalities and work styles. Ability to concentrate, meet deadlines, work on several projects simultaneously and adapt to interruptions.

Operates in a typical office environment. The area is well-lit, temperature controlled and free from hazards.

Communicates frequently, in person and over the phone, with people in all locations on product support issues. Hearing is needed for extensive telephone and in person communication.

Must be able to travel to the various Trinity Health sites as needed (20%).

Manual dexterity is needed in order to operate a computer keyboard.

Must possess the ability to comply with Trinity Health policies and procedures.
