World Business Lenders (WBL) provides general purpose short-term real estate collateralized commercial loans to a broad customer base comprised of small and medium sized businesses throughout the United States that lack access to traditional funding.
WBL is a U.S.-based company with a 100% remote workforce.
Generally, working hours will be 9:00am-6:00pm Eastern time, Monday through Friday, although hours worked may be greater based upon operational requirements.
The job requires excellent oral and written command of the English language.
You must be comfortable working with productivity monitoring systems

Responsibilities:
- Develop modular, accessible, and responsive Angular components with reactive forms, routing, and state management (RxJS/Signals/NgRx)
- Build and maintain APIs in FastAPI (preferred) or Django with pydantic schemas, authentication (JWT/OAuth2), background tasks, pagination, and third-party integrations.
- Design and optimize SQL Server databases, including schema design, indexes, migrations, stored procedures, and data quality controls.
- Ensure high code quality with unit, integration, and end-to-end tests (Jest/Karma/Cypress).
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, structured logging, and operational runbooks.
- Break down epics into clear deliverables, collaborate on design and code reviews, and mentor peers.
Requirements
- 5 to 8+ years building production web applications with full stack experience (frontend + backend).
- Strong proficiency in Angular, Python, and Java, with solid SQL Server (T-SQL) optimization skills.
- Solid knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and modern frontend practices.
- Experience designing and consuming REST APIs, with a strong grasp of server architecture and performance tuning.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud environments.
- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks and best practices for code quality.
- Comfortable communicating in English during daily standups, code reviews, and technical discussions.
