Primary Responsibilities:
- Implement a functional SSAS environment.
- Building and re-designing a set of reports that need to transition to an analysis services environment.
- Work with our customer’s technical team to identify initial requirements.
- Apply tabular, relational, and multidimensional data modeling methodologies.
- Transform raw data into meaningful business decisions and pre-aggregate data for optimal results.
- Document logical and physical data models.
- Document and update reporting environment data model
- Develop new reports based on customer requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- Minimum of 10 years of overall professional experience and a master's degree (or 12 years of experience and a bachelor’s degree)
- The ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
- Define and develop new reporting and data queries using SQL, SSAS, and SSIS
- Experience building both star and snowflake schemas
- Working knowledge of tabular, relational, and multidimensional data models
- Working knowledge of AWS and/or Azure cloud environments
- Experience building complex dashboards and reports with Power BI
- Expert-level understand of ETL, data pipeline, and data warehousing concepts
- Self-starter able to work independently and within a team
- Flexibility and the ability to react to rapidly changing requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience generating data models and analytics of a financial nature including budgeting, financial management, or personnel environment.
- Preferred VA experience
